Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3 years of EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing or agricultural processing Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and South Carolina environmental regulations Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, or HAZWOPER Experience with EHS management systems and data reporting tools Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform on-site inspections Comfortable working in industrial environments with PPE, machinery, and moderate noise Why This Job? Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and site-specific safety policies Lead employee safety teams and promote engagement across departments Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions Manage incident investigations, documentation, and root cause analysis Oversee EHS training programs for employees and contractors Monitor environmental compliance (air, stormwater, spill plans, and waste management) Serve as primary contact for OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory agencies Support emergency response drills and compliance reporting Collaborate with plant operations to ensure adherence to safe work practices Track and report safety metrics and KPIs to leadership Good Vibes Only.
