The Position
Genentech's Intellectual Property team is seeking a Patent Paralegal who will provide a high level of paralegal support in all facets of US Patent Law to three or more patent attorneys in the Genentech IP Team. The ideal candidate must possess advanced knowledge of Patent and Trademark (PTO) rules and procedures, be proficient at navigating Patent Center and Assignment Center, and a strong knowledge of and ability to keep abreast of 37 C.F.R. rules and MPEP rules. This position reports directly to a Principal Paralegal Team lead in the Genentech IP Team. This role is located onsite at Genentech's South San Francisco, California campus, and a remote working arrangement is not available. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is$100,400 to $186,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
