Responsibilities

Nottingham Financial Group (Nottingham Investment Services & Nottingham Advisors) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to our team. This internship is for up to 20 hours per week and offers hands-on experience supporting both Nottingham Investment Services and Nottingham, providing valuable exposure to financial planning, investment analysis, and performance reporting.

This internship will provide opportunities for the following:

Essential Duties:

Nottingham Investment Services:

  • Support Financial Planning Director: Assist with the creation, analysis, and updating of comprehensive financial plans for clients.
  • Special Projects: Contribute to various projects as needed, working collaboratively with the team to deliver customized solutions.
  • Research and Analysis: Help research financial products and strategies to support client recommendations.

Nottingham Advisors:

  • Security Analysis: Participate in projects focused on analyzing securities and reviewing investment portfolios.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist with the collection, modeling, and presentation of investment performance data.
  • Ad Hoc Assignments: Engage in assignments designed to deepen your understanding of investment management.

Qualifications

Education, Training, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Financial Planning or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) preferred; familiarity with financial analysis tools is a plus.
  • Interest: Genuine enthusiasm for financial planning and investment management.
