Lubbock Designer 43508BR Marketing and Communications Position Description The designer's responsibilities encompass the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating print or digital deliverables, including layouts, branding and illustrations. Their work should focus on solving clients' challenges, communicating the right message, and meeting the needs of end users. Designers have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into print or digital deliverables, with an understanding of the latest trends, and the ability to work collaboratively with their creative peers and broader marketing team members. About the Department and/or College In Marketing & Communications, we deliver high-quality communications that tell the story of Texas Tech in the most compelling way possible. Major/Essential Functions Marketing & Communications is searching for a highly creative and strategic Digital Designer to conceptualize and execute a variety of design projects in support of our enrollment marketing efforts across broad audiences. The tasks include creating digital assets for our website, social media platforms, email campaigns and other online marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong understanding of design principles, responsive design and can translate marketing and content needs into solutions that solve client challenges. The role of the Digital Designer is to deliver innovative, user-friendly design solutions that enhance the Texas Tech University brand and engage our audiences.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal four years. Preferred Qualifications
