Position Description

Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions


  • Oversees SVM pcards and pcard activity.
  • Maintains electronic filing system for business office
  • Deposits incoming checks
  • Processes Amazon orders
  • Printing monthly ledgers for business office team
  • Maintain spreadsheet to capture continuing education expenses from faculty
  • Ordering supplies for workroom
  • HR processes backup
  • Update/maintain guest lecturer survey monkey form and spreadsheet weekly

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Knowledge of Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic).
  • Ability to learn computer systems and software as needed

Required Qualifications

Completion of high school or the equivalent. Five years office experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with internal systems such as Emburse Enterprise (Formerly Chrome River), P-Card.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including excel, word, and Outlook.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Organized and dependable.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency and bias towards action in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task and must be flexible.
