Summary:

The Scarborough Surgery Center provides care to patients of all ages, requiring procedures such as but not limited to Total Joint Replacement, Robotics, Neuro, ENT, Ortho, GYN/GU.

The center is designed around the comfort of patients requiring surgeries that may require an overnight stay, this freestanding, 59,000-SF outpatient surgical center is set on a remote campus and includes: 10 operating rooms 31 pre- and post-op rooms

The Perioperative Services Technician II role is responsible for assisting with the care of the patient in the Operating Room (OR) by transporting and lifting/positioning for surgery, cleaning and assisting in OR turnovers, and performing general errands as required by team leader and charge nurses.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two years of experience preferred. Six months experience and demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Perioperative Services Technician I role required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
