The role will work primarily with medical claims, RX claims, membership and supporting data. As a SQL Developer, you will be on point for the development of database processes that feed objects and tables that are queried daily by our stakeholders. You will conduct thorough analyses on our databases to ensure standardization of fields and data across diverse sources. This position requires a keen evaluation of up and downstream impacts resulting from any modifications, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the quality and simplicity of the data structure. The SQL Developer is responsible for efficiently managing individual work streams and exhibits self-motivation to continually upskill as needed. We are seeking a candidate who is inherently driven to learn and grow within the dynamic field of data management. Responsibilities: * Create and maintain SQL code to move and transform data * Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify business logic and use case * Follow SDLC best practices and perform peer reviews * Read and create documentation * Troubleshoot and fix automation issues * Participate in special projects outside of the day-to-day scope on responsibility * Able to upskill independently * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: o Attend team meetings (video on) and training o Knows, understands, and follows teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures. o Travels up to 5% of the time o Live the DaVita Way - Means that we dedicate our Head, Heart, and Hands to pursue the Mission, live the Values, and build a healthy Village Qualifications: o Beginner to intermediate knowledge of SQL required o Bachelor's degree o Desire to learn best practices for data infrastructure organization o 1+ year of experience working with SQL preferred o Personal values align with DaVita's values of service excellence, integrity, team, continuous improvement, accountability, fulfillment, and fun o Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word and Outlook o Advanced critical thinking, strong work ethic, creative mindset, adept communication skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, efficient time management, technical aptitude, and business acumen o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills o Experience with Python, DDL and PL/SQL a plus What We'll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most. This position will be open for a minimum of three days. The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00/year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
