Relias is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead the Enterprise Acute sales team. The Director will align with key functions across the organization to influence development of our growth strategy, drive revenue growth, and enhance our market presence. This key leadership role requires an individual that can work across the business to blend market insights, customer needs, and technological advancements to engage acute healthcare organizations to address their needs around compliance, provider retention, and ongoing education. The Director will coach and mentor the Acute sales team to meet or exceed all growth goals leveraging product, marketing, professional services, and customer success. This position is also responsible for driving strategic planning and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the Sales organization. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Impacting the profitability of the company through strategic and tactical sales management and deal execution
- Leading team of Account Executives and Account Managers to achieve sales goals in a high growth environment
- Monitoring employee performance and counsels and advises to ensure compatibility, maximum effectiveness, and continued growth on a constant basis, including addressing personnel issues/performance issues in accordance with Company policy
- Designing, implementing, and managing overall territory effectiveness
- Participating in programs developed by Revenue Enablement to ensure effective sales strategies, positioning, and best practices
- Working with Revenue Operations on performance management, reporting, forecasting and compensation
- Coordinating efforts with other internal teams and groups to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- 7+ years Enterprise sales experience in a SaaS company
- 5+ years experience leading and developing a high performing sales team
- Demonstrated understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, with specific experience selling into acute care organizations and navigating complex stakeholder environments (clinical, operational, compliance, IT, and executive buyers)
- Proven success selling SaaS solutions in a multi-product, platform-based environment, including the ability to position integrated offerings and drive expansion across multiple buying centers
- Strong ability to translate healthcare market trends, regulatory pressures, and customer challenges into clear value propositions and sales strategies
- Demonstrable track record of driving and leading growth in prior roles
- SaaS experience, and/or solutions experience within the healthcare sector
- Enterprise sales experience as an individual contributor
- Comfort managing a team quota of $10 million+
- Technical aptitude, and deep experience leveraging the capabilities of Salesforce
- Strong planning skills - both strategically and operationally
- Strong business acumen, and deep understanding of cross functional business metrics impacting sales, or impacted by sales activity
- Passionate about the customer and meeting their needs
- Unquestionable integrity combined with a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to prepare and present executive of client level presentations
- Ability to participate at large, on site events interacting with many customers
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity, recommend solutions, take ownership of implementation and/or project management of departmental initiatives
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business by sharing insights, the root causes behind changes in KPI's, the frequency and impact of these root causes and your recommendations to double down or course correct as needed
- Expertise with technology (Salesforce.com, Power Point, Excel forms and formulas, WebEx, web-based software applications, etc.)
- High level of organization, time management, self-initiative
- Highly developed presentation and stand-up facilitation skills
- Strong knowledge of hosted software applications (SaaS model) and how business systems integrate.
- Constant thirst for learning and ability to figure out new approaches and learn all potential use cases for our different product offerings for the different segments of the market
Education Required (Minimum required)
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field
IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT: This role is ideally based near Relias' Morrisville, NC headquarters; however, remote candidates will be considered for the right experience and demonstrated fit.Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that if you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute) you wuold be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 40 days/quarter. Compensation: Pay Range: $225,000 - $310,000 OTE. The range listed is one component of the total compensation package for employees in additional to our comprehensive benefits.
