Global PACCAR Electronics is seeking highly motivated students to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program as a Diagnostic Systems Intern.
Job Summary
As aDiagnostic Systems Intern, you will analyze large data sets from vehicle remote diagnostics to uncover insights that improve product performance, reliability, and customer uptime. You will collaborate with crossfunctional and international teams to develop user-friendly analysis tools and reporting interfaces. Your work will support datadriven decision-making and enhance the customer experience.
We're looking for interns who are eager to learn, adaptable, technically curious, and comfortable communicating in collaborative, fastpaced engineering environments.
What to Expect
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), in person
  • Duration: Minimum 12 weeks
  • Location: Lewisville, TX
  • Start Dates: May 18, 2026, or June 22, 2026
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not available for this role (H1B, TN, OPT, etc.)

About Global PACCAR Electronics

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale vehicle diagnostic and telematics data sets.
  • Develop, refine, and recommend improvements to data analysis methodologies
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Present insights and technical recommendations to engineering leadership and crossfunctional teams.

Qualifications

  • Third or fourth year of bachelor's degree completed (graduation date 2026 - 2027) in one of the following STEM disciplines: Data Analytics, Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Software, Computer, Mechanical), Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and engineering judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong initiative, followthrough, and adaptabilityProficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Word, Excel, presentations).
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and creatively solve technical issues.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Desired Attributes

  • Experience with SQL for querying and optimizing databases.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.

  • The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hour (pay varies by undergraduate and graduate degree)
