About the Role:

eJournalPress, a Wiley Partner Solutions company, provides highly tailored peer review, billing and payment, and production management software solutions to top scholarly publishers around the world. Our customers include the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, eLife, the American Association for Cancer Research, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and many other prestigious academic societies and organizations.

We are currently looking to fill a full-time position as Project Manager. You will be working directly with clients to help them interface with the systems we offer. This will involve managing questions and issues with their sites and maintaining a positive relationship with them.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with new and existing customers to facilitate software configuration changes and troubleshoot user issues and software defects
  • Manage the complete process of setting up new sites for customers
  • Train customers on new sites and features
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the software development team to gather requirements, prepare product specifications, and perform software quality assurance testing
  • Create and maintain software documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role supporting customers who are using a system
  • Ability to independently manage multiple, concurrent tasks
  • Strong problem solving and solution research skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication (English)
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers from non-technical backgrounds
  • An empathic and friendly attitude, willingness to advocate for customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Tech savvy and able to learn a new system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and/or SQL
  • Technical background
  • Familiarity with scholarly publishing

The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
