Hybrid Role: This role is hybrid, with an established schedule of in-person work required at an assigned work location. Any remote work is expected to be performed from an employee's primary residence, unless allowed (or prohibited) through the Company's remote work guidelines.

Emergency Response: Yes - Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE's emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

Acts as a liaison between DTE Energy, business unit partners and vendors to assure best quality and lowest cost is obtained. Supports warehouse operations with data systems and machinery training. Builds customer loyalty by providing superior service to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of all internal and external stakeholders. Assists in development and implementation of strategies to promote standardization across processes, business units, inventory optimization, and supply chain best practices. Plans and coordinates special projects as required.

Key Accountabilities
  • Performs data research and analysis, create action plans, and report out results and next steps to leadership.
  • Represents Supply Chain in business unit meetings.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of performance metrics to evaluate Supply Chain Warehouse operations performance.
  • Monitors vendor performance in collaboration with procurement team.
  • Coordinates special projects such as corporate initiatives, maturity model assessments, and foundational capability tasks.
  • Assists with inventory management program at the warehouse.
  • Assists with procedure/standard work instruction review and creation, revisions, and employee training.
  • Assists with supervisory duties in leader's absence.
  • Supports Supply Chain Warehouse Operations leadership team with site requirement support such as on call duties and outage assignments.
  • Facilitate repair and refurbishment activities in partnership with Procurement, including coordination of shipping requirements and material returns from the plant.
  • Collaborate with other organizations to remove bottlenecks affecting material availability
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • At least three years of warehouse experience or site specific experience where your role interacted with the warehouse such as field worker
Other Qualifications

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree in Business
  • Supply Chain Warehouse knowledge
  • Experience withCollective Bargaining Agreements

    Other Requirements

  • Highly developed computer skills.
  • (Microsoft office suite such as excel, word, and PowerPoint, SAP, SRM, and Maximo, Project)
  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external customers, and resolve disagreements/conflicts.
  • Able to conduct training programs and perform audits.
  • Able to develop SWI's and maintain data archive locations
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Have a valid driver's license and meet company driving standards
  • Have demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop ideas, which have a positive impact on existing methods, services, contracts or procedures.
  • Provide support to plant by performing on-call duties as scheduled.
  • Provide support to plant by performing Radiological Emergency Response duties.
  • Provide support to plant by performing alternate work schedules during plant outages.
