We are seeking a high-velocity Intelligent Automation Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role you will help reduce inefficiencies, optimize processes, increase productivity, increase data accuracy, and enable the business to move faster through smart automation and digital technology.

In this role, you will help determine if low code solutions, AI Agents, or broader technology stacks should be applied to solve problems. We intentionally avoid building complex custom applications that require months to deliver. The solutions we deliver should be measured in days and weeks. Lowcode solutions can leverage the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Microsoft Copilot Studio can be leveraged for AI Agent development. AWS toolsets like App Studio, Step Functions, Bedrock, and Bedrock AgentCore are additional platforms toolsets you can leverage. AWS is used for workflow orchestration, AI/agent capabilities, and integrations where Power Platform alone is not the best fit.

In all cases your goal is to rapidly deliver solutions for our business and determine which toolset will accomplish positive outcomes. You use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and consider AI agents creation for productivity gains.

Through these efforts, you will contribute directly to our enterprise automation strategy, enabling faster execution and empowering business teams with intuitive, intelligent, and scalable solutions.

What Success Looks like in the First 6 Months

  • Multiple manual workflows replaced with production-grade stable automations.
  • Business teams are actively using your solutions and requesting new features.
  • A measurable reduction on email and spreadsheet-driven processes.
  • Recognized as a leader in technology enablement and automation across IT and the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
  • Rapid Solution Delivery: Design and deploy end-to-end automations that replace manual processes, using the most efficient tool available.
  • Connectivity: Manage integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth authentication models.
  • AI Integration: Build and support AI-assisted automation
  • Full-Stack Power Platform: Hands-on development of Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse data modeling.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and ensure optimal platform and app performance.
  • Collaborate with business sponsors, administrators, and other stakeholders to qualify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and select the appropriate automation or AI platform based on speed, maintainability and business impact.
  • Leverage DevOps tools and processes, contribute to automation ALM standards, and ensure compliance with OUTFRONT security and governance policies
  • Apply deployment strategies, such as packaging, importing, exporting, and versioning for deployed applications.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on development: Proven track record of delivering internal business tools (this is a builder role, not a design-only role)
  • Power Platform Competency: Deep experience in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • AWS Proficiency: Practical experience designing or integrating solutions using AWS services in production environments. Familiarity with AWS App Studio, Step Functions, and Bedrock AgentCore is highly preferred.
  • AI Fluent: Experience using AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Kiro, or similar) and implementing LLM-based workflows and Agents
  • Data Savvy: Proficiency in querying and connecting data sources like SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS RDS, and S3.
  • Integration Expert: Strong experience with JSON and building/consuming APIs to bridge disparate systems.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience translating loosely defined business problems into working production solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

For New York and New Jersey, the salary range for this role is $130,000-$140,000 per year. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
