Job Description




As a Security Officer Defense-Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Crestview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and visible presence checks, document security-related activity, and support access control and visitor guidance. This is a driving post, so you may patrol across a larger site and respond to calls for service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangar areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, check identification and/or credentials, manage visitor logs, and direct arrivals to the appropriate locations while following site entry requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying the appropriate contacts, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activity, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover using required systems and/or post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
