Job Summary The Outreach Manager for the Neuroscience and Cardiovascular service lines is responsible for cultivating and fostering relationships for the Neuroscience and Cardiovascular service lines with referring hospitals, pre-hospital providers, outpatient sources, and community organizations. This individual will identify new business opportunities and support existing customers with ongoing communication, education, and feedback with the goal of increasing appropriate patient referrals. Enhances the lines of communication between referring physicians, EMS agencies and partnering hospitals. This includes developing, managing, and supporting relationships, coordinating and disseminating information, acting as a key resource for internal and external physicians as well as identifying new partnerships. Establishes a high level of customer service as a liaison between physicians, IT, Radiology and the transferring parternship facilities. Maintains a public health perspective while working with EMS and governmental agencies. Fosters relationships with partnering hospitals and their Stroke Teams. Interfaces with all entities of the Marcus Stroke Network and all special projects. Education Bachelor degree (or higher) from accredited Nursing program required Experience Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in the care of neuroscience patients. Previous educational experiences in education program development, teaching and public speaking required. Experience in marketing and referral networking in a health care field preferred. Experience in providing educational/marketing seminars. Skills/Certifications/Licenses Maintain an RN critical care certification (SCRN, CCRN, CFRN, CNRN ) Core Competencies 1.
