GENERAL FUNCTION

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for new and existing client implementations for SMB (Small, Mid-Market Business) clients (up to ~2,000 eligible employees with stretch assignments up to ~5,000 eligible employees). The high-volume SMB Implementation model is mainly focused on clients with simple to moderate administrative needs managed through either an automated or manual installation approach.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supports Sales and Service teams in review of new SMB business opportunities to gain an understanding of client administrative needs, including the client and member experience in terms of compliance with EyeMed Standards of Administration and best practices.
  • Responsible for execution of client implementations including effectively managing project timeline to ensure on-time completion of deliverables and deployment for plan effective date
  • Main client/broker contact during the end-to-end implementation process and as a liaison between key client/broker contacts and cross-functional departments including Finance, Membership, Billing, Customer Care, Provider Relations, Sales & Service, etc.
  • Support on client inquiries and expectations related to plan administration and support.
  • Complies with EyeMed Standards of Administration and processes as defined by functional areas. Partners with Sales and Service teams to escalate and manage requests for non-standard administrative items, seeing through to resolution and communicating key decisions to impacted parties.
  • Responsible for meeting deadlines as defined by various functional areas to support provider communications, open enrollment production, card production, and underwriter compliance, etc.
  • Responsible for providing complete and timely communication and reporting to Manager related to implementations in process, including project status, progress on key deliverables and outstanding issues being worked or potential risks.
  • Responsible for data entry and tracking of group implementations using Project Plan tool.
  • Effectively communicates details of group implementation to account service owner at completion of implementation.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with current state insurance requirements in terms of new plan implementation and renewal processes.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Client Operations, Client/Customer Support or Client Implementations
  • Experience with high-volume request management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across functional lines including Sales, Operational teams, and exeternally with Clients
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce or other CRM applications



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Knowledge of vision benefits and/or insurance industry
  • 1+ year experience in Project Management Healthcare implementations
  • Works constructively under pressure in higher-volume environment
