Summary of Job Duties:Under direction, formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Develops and modifies procedures and software to solve complex healthcare business, patient care, healthcare regulatory, and medical research problems using state of the art and legacy software development tools and methods, considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, computer-user interfaces and form of desired results. Expected to perform project tasks such as software development, software implementation, application maintenance, application troubleshooting, software upgrades, software testing, and custom report writing, in individual and team member roles. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field of study - OR

  • Associatesdegree inInformation Technology or related field of study plus 2 years of computer programming experience - OR -

  • High School diploma plus 4 years of computer programming experience.

  • Proven programming experience in one or more programming languages is required.

  • One year of experience Visual Basic and some experience in one or more of the following: C#, Visual Studio, PHP, ASP, or other web-based programming language.

  • One year of relational database experience in Postgresql, MySQL, Microsoft SQL or Oracle.

  • Client/Server programming, Internet application programming required.

  • The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects and to work closely and effectively with co-workers and end-users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience is a plus

  • Experience in Web/Grid Services is desired.

  • Maintenance and implementation of vendor based product solutions.

  • Working knowledge of testing and quality assurance process / procedures that support a zero defects implementation approach.

  • Working knowledge of Robotic Process Automation software and/or mobile development tools and techniques is a plus.
