SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for an Operator/Tester Subject Matter Expert, Lead to perform, analyze, and make recommendations related to Acceptance Testing (AT), Integration Testing (IT), platform installation, and check-out test evolutions.


Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Develop solutions to complex technical problems. Review technical and design documentation and support engineers in developing test plans and procedures for equipment/system certifications.
  • Participate in environmental testing, acceptance testing, and integration testing for prototypes, Engineering Development Models (EDMs), systems of systems, frameworks, and obsolescence support for fielded systems and test articles; provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide support in the development and maintenance of environmental, acceptance, integration, platform installation, and check-out testing.
  • Perform non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting complete projects of relatively limited scope or portions of larger, more diverse projects.
  • Select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, or layouts; coordinate with personnel in related activities to resolve problems and integrate the technical work of others.



Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:


  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Six (6)+ years of experience as a recognized technical expert in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating primary systems and peripheral equipment in support of projects.
