Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-Level)

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Carlsbad, CA to support materials engineering and supplier quality processes within a regulated manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow in manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, materials qualification, and process improvement.

This entry-level engineering role provides hands-on experience with core engineering methods, supplier investigations, and quality systems while working under the guidance of senior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, CMA forms, NCEP investigations, and Change Requests
• Support raw material and manufacturing supply specifications, inspection procedures, and test method development
• Investigate supplied material issues and assist with supplier corrective actions
• Execute and support NCEP investigations for defective components
• Utilize statistical analysis tools (Minitab required) to evaluate quality data
• Assist with on-site supplier troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with Quality System regulations and internal quality policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
• 0-1 year of engineering experience
• Proficiency in Minitab (required)
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills
