As a Software Engineering Internfor Agentic Sales Coach,you will helpoptimizeand advance a live AI-powered learning tool by defining new features andcapabilities,collaborating,and innovating withteammates. You will apply your passion for customers and product qualitywhile yousupport ongoing innovation through telemetry, evaluation tooling, user feedback insights, and high-quality testing. You will learn and adopt relevant new AI technologies, tools, methods, and processes toleverageyour solutions. You will also consider the impact of AI technology, including applying Microsoft's responsible AI practices. This opportunity will enable you to advance your career by designing, developing, and testing next-generationproducts and agentsthat will empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more.

This role is 100% remote and may be performed from any US based location during the 8-week program which starts June 15,2026,through August 7, 2026.



Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering.

  • Work withappropriate stakeholderstodetermineuser requirements for aset of features.

  • Quicklylearnnew engineering methods andincorporatethem into work processes.

  • Demonstrate skill in time management and completingengineeringassignmentsin acollaborativeteam environment.

  • Review currentbuild processesand proactively seek new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

  • Apply Microsoft's Responsible AI practices and use structured feedback loops to help shapehigh-qualityAI learning experiences-testing features,identifyingusability opportunities, and providing clear recommendations that improve Copilot experiences for learners.

  • Participatein a crossgroupproject performing structured teardowns toidentifyissues,opportunities and provide improvement recommendations across an endtoend experience.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Currentlypursuing aBachelor'sDegreeinComputer Science, Engineering, or related field during the academic termimmediatelybefore the internship.

  • Must have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate studies.

  • One year of programming experience in an object-oriented language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

  • Experience with AI/ML projects, such as developing machine learning models, working with large datasets, or implementing AI solutions in real-world applications.

  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow,PyTorch, orscikit-learn.

  • Experience in using AI tools to generate projects, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude code, Microsoft Roo Code or similar, with an understanding of their strengths and limitations.

  • Experienceworkingcross-team, collaborating with others, prioritizing tasks, and working independently.

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5610.00 - $11010.00 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $7270.00 - $12030.00 per month.
