What You'll Do:
The Process Technician sets up, monitors, and optimizes injection molding processes to ensure product quality, efficient production, and minimal scrap. This role troubleshoots and resolves process and equipment issues, supports material and mold trials, maintains accurate process documentation, and assists with training operators and junior technicians.
- Sets up and operates injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.
- Monitors and adjusts molding parameters to meet cycle time, quality, and scrap reduction targets.
- Identifies and troubleshoots process issues, including machine malfunctions, tooling concerns, and material defects.
- Conducts inspections and tests of molded parts to verify compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Documents and maintains accurate records related to process parameters, production output, downtime, scrap, repairs, and process deviations.
- Maintains and updates set-up sheets and documents process corrections and improvements.
- Participates in material and mold trials and provides tooling and process improvement recommendations.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to support operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Assists in training machine operators and junior technicians on processes, best practices, and safety requirements.
- Complies with all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- 3rd Shift Work Schedule: 10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday, Pacific Time
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; injection molding experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of injection molding processes, including the use of robotics and auxiliary equipment.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of plant, machine, and workplace safety practices.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to work with measurements and ratios.

What you may be doing:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
