Equipment Operator A

We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Durant, OK location.

Schedule: Four-day work week (four on, three off), 12-hour shifts

Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience

Heavy Equipment Operator Job Responsibilities

• Experience operating front end loaders, material handlers, haul trucks, or excavators preferred
• Conduct regular pre-op and post-op inspection before and after use
• Ensure equipment is safe and prepared for daily use
• Communicate any unsafe findings or equipment damage immediately to appropriate person
• Willing to learn how to operate multiple pieces of equipment
• Willing to train as needed

Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications

• Industry experience preferred: steel mill and/or construction
• Ability to work independently as well as with teammates
• Excellent reading and writing skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Valid Driver's License
• Willing to learn different positions
• Willing to work night shift and weekends
