As Executive Assistant to the EVP, Sony Music D2C, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the executive office. You will provide high-level administrative and operational support in a fast-paced, global environment while acting as a trusted extension of the EVP.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. You will manage complex scheduling, global travel, executive communications, and cross-functional coordination across Sony Music's global D2C and merchandising businesses.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly detail-oriented, adaptable to constant change, and comfortable operating in a high-intensity, always-on environment.


Why This Role:

This position sits at the center of Sony Music's global direct-to-consumer and merchandising platform. The EVP leads a rapidly evolving business spanning eCommerce, merchandising, supply chain, technology, and global expansion across multiple markets.

The Executive Assistant will have visibility across senior leadership, cross-label initiatives, and global operational execution. This is an opportunity to partner closely with an executive building a scalable, long-term platform within Sony Music. The role requires maturity, independence, and complete trust, and offers meaningful exposure to strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.


What you'll do:

Executive Support & Time Management



  • Provide proactive administrative support to the EVP, including complex calendar management across multiple global time zones (U.S., UK, Europe, Australia).
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and shifting priorities to ensure optimal use of executive time.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and briefing documents; ensure the EVP is fully prepared for internal and external engagements.
  • Track follow-ups and action items across Sony Music D2C, labels, partners, and corporate teams.
  • Manage incoming communications and prioritize matters requiring executive attention.


Travel & Expense Management


  • Coordinate detailed domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itinerary preparation.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage last-minute changes with discretion and efficiency.


Cross-Functional Coordination



  • Partner with senior leaders across Sony Music D2C to coordinate leadership meetings, strategic sessions, and team offsites.
  • Organize and support internal meetings, including preparing agendas, gathering materials, capturing notes, and tracking outcomes.
  • Maintain distribution lists, shared documents, and communication workflows as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive assistants across the global Sony Music organization.

Event & Project Support



  • Assist with planning and execution of leadership meetings, workshops, and internal events.
  • Support preparation of presentations and materials for budget reviews, strategic discussions, and senior leadership meetings.
  • Provide coordination support on select cross-functional initiatives as needed.


Who you are:


  • Minimum 5+ years of executive assistant experience supporting a senior-level executive in a fast-paced organization.


  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars and shifting priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs before direction is provided
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience working across Mac and PC environments.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
  • Flexible and available outside standard business hours when necessary.
  • Professional, discreet, and capable of building trust across all levels of an organization.
