Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

(Other duties may be assigned)

  • Interfaces daily with Maintenance Manager and all other maintenance personnel to identify and order parts and supplies necessary to support company objectives.
  • Attends and participates in daily pre-shift safety meetings.
  • Receives and processes requests for purchases for parts and other items.
  • Source quality parts at the right price; must be able to identify and evaluate suppliers who can offer replacement parts that match the quality of the originals.
  • Enters purchase order data into JD Edwards for approval and assignment of Purchase Order by Corporate Purchasing.
  • Enters approved purchase order data into Expenditure Database and tracks delivery
  • Distributes or stocks all parts received.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and professional work area (desk, parts room shelves, cabinets, floor, etc.)
  • Prepares Return Authorization paperwork as needed and arranges for return of items to vendor, as necessary.
  • Maintains all MRO-related documentation, including filing and purging as required, following corporate and company guidelines.
  • Maintains stock levels of parts room, critical process emergency stock, motor/gear box rack parts and the die shop maintenance part storage areas.
  • Performs periodic inventories and audits of stocked items to ensure accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Creates / compiles necessary reports for inventory control, cost reduction efforts, deficiency identification, etc.
  • To ensure continuity and accuracy in our purchasing system, MRO Coordinator daily audits the BOKY Maintenance Database to ensure that all vouchered purchase orders in JDE are closed in the database.
  • Communicates all quotes and cost information to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Receives and inputs work order data into the COGZ CMMS system, as necessary.
  • Works with Maintenance Leads to assign work orders to appropriate maintenance personnel.
  • Prints and delivers work orders to Maintenance Leads, as needed.
  • Enters completed work order data into COGZ CMMS system. Closes out completed work orders after data is entered, as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have good computer skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
