Lead the Abrams Futures programs for US Manufacturing from through the early design and build phases. Act as the primary interface for US Manufacturing with Program Office and the customer. Keep M&CS leadership and Program Office managementinformed on readiness all program aspects. Specific tasks in this phase include: Develop and maintain IMS as directed by contract requirements. Monitor contract requirements assigned to Manufacturing and their allocation to production plants. Ensure the MFG team is meeting headcount and work completions targets required for successful program execution. Develop and foster a cohesive team environment between prototype and production teams. Primary tasks include: EBOM development, Make/Buy Input, ERP execution, MBOM development, and material procurement. Direct the establishment and managementof prototype MBOM and detailed Build Tasks (BOP) in TeamCenter. Direct MRs for long lead material required to mitigate program risk. Track material status and address "late to need" issues with plant and SCM leads. Manage and track plant readiness for prototype builds. | |
