Receiving Clerk
Duration: Contract 6 months
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Job Summary:
Verify contents of received material against bills of lading, invoices, or packing slips.
Essential Job Duties:
*Receive purchased and manufactured part and customer supplied material.
*Ensure materials and parts are in processed in a timely manner.
*Maintain paperwork/traceability of all incoming material to include Packing Lists, Certs, 8130"s, Conformity data and any other pertinent information.
*Ensure log sheets are properly completed and maintained.
*Loads/Unloads trucks and delivery vehicles as needed.
*Maintain neat and orderly Receiving area.
Secondary Duties:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
*Has a thorough knowledge of common receiving practices and warehouse operations, i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
*Must have working knowledge of receipt, verification and stocking of parts.
*Must have the ability to lead people and accept responsibility.
*Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
Physical Requirements:
*May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
*Subject to continual loud noises.
*Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
*Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps and ladders.
*Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives.
