Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm; Some weekends based on business need.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Product Forecasting: Maintain a forecast plan on all finished products, raw materials, packaging and ingredients in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Receive raw milk, ingredient, packaging, cap and label orders.
  • Accurately forecast in accordance with anticipated demands, space and code restrictions.
  • Continuous monitoring and adjusting of forecasted demand is essential to ensuring proper inventory levels.
  • Production Scheduling: Based on forecasting plan provide the Production Department, Lab, Processing, Warehouse and Blow Mold Department with daily schedules.
  • Communicate all changes in established plans to appropriate personnel in a timely manner to prevent excess or shortage in inventory of ingredients/products.
  • Verification of inventory accuracy with cycle counts.
  • Interface and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal departments as well as other locations.
  • Serve as back up for others in the Production Control D
  • Some development and maintenance of financial reports required.
  • Follow all company safety policies and support proactive safety initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Varying noise and temperature levels.


Education, Skills and Experience:



  • College degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years' experience in forecasting and production control processes.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with purchase order systems, production scheduling, and accounting is a plus.
  • Exceptional math and computer skills. Specifically, with Microsoft office suite.
  • Strong communications and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.


SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:



  • Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks.
  • Ensure Bio-security procedures are followed.
  • Support methods for lot traceability of raw materials including dry and liquid ingredients.
  • Support SQF by maintaining the Approved Supplier Program.
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Serve as backup of the other Production Control employees with their SQF duties.
  • Must be detailed in record keeping and filing

The pay range for this position is
$67,100 $77,200 USD
