Tufts University Occupational Health Services provides work-related medical services to university faculty, staff, and employees, with the goal of preventing and minimizing health risks. Student Health Services supports the educational mission of Tufts University by providing accessible and high-quality health care for a highly diverse student population. On the Boston campus, Tufts Occupational & Student Health Services will provide health services and same day health services to faculty, staff, and students using a unique blended model responding to the needs of Tufts' entire Boston community. Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the medical needs of students, faculty, and staff, including evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries, disease prevention, health promotion, and routine primary care services. Mental health services for students are provided through a mix of on-site and virtual consultations. What You'll Do This is a full-time, 40hr/week, in-person position located in Boston, MA at 1.0 FTEThe Shift is 11:00am to 7pm. This position is for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse for a blended occupational health and student health department. The nurse will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of our university community. The nurse will provide nursing services to faculty, staff, and students. Services are provided under the supervision of the Boston site manager. Essential Functions Assesses, evaluates, and provides nursing services focused on the prevention of employee and student injuries and illnesses. Coordinates with other team members to optimize patient care and promotes a healthy campus environment. Provides triage services, first aid, vaccinations, phlebotomy, health screening, and health information. Supports return to work and school through virtual and in-person follow-up appointments. Maintains accurate clinical records. Provides privacy and confidentiality to inquiries and access to personal medical records and information. Maintains current knowledge of relevant nursing practices, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality patient care. Manages care according to established guidelines. Pay Range Minimum $79,600.00, Midpoint $99,600.00, Maximum $119,500.00 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. | |
