ABOUT THE POSITION: As a SMT Process / Manufacturing Engineer II, you will play a critical role in both launching new products and supporting existing SMT production. You'll own surface mount manufacturing processes from new product development (NPD) through full-volume production, ensuring designs are manufacturable, processes are stable, and equipment operates reliably with minimal downtime. Working closely with NPD, Electronic Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, you'll define and implement robust processes, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role requires strong technical ownership, using data to improve process capability, increase throughput, and ensure long-term manufacturing success. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: You're an experienced SMT process or manufacturing engineer with 5+ years of hands-on SMT and PCBA process experience and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. You understand Design for Manufacturability (DFM), PFMEAs, and process controls, and you're comfortable owning processes from new product introduction through full production. You're highly analytical and enjoy solving complex technical problems, improving first past yield (FPY) and throughput, and identifying root causes. Education
Bachelors of Electronics Engineering Technology (preferred)
Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Experience
5 years: SMT process / manufacturing engineering experience (required)
