Position Summary: The Training Scheduling Administrator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all crew training events to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company policies. This role plays a critical part in administering training schedules, managing training bidding systems, and ensuring that Flight Crew, Instructors, and contract Flight Attendants receive the necessary training to remain qualified for duty. The position requires strong analytical skills, scheduling expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to maintain an efficient and cost-effective training schedule.

Major Job Accountabilities:

  • Track and document crewmember training progress to ensure timely completion of required programs and alignment with FAA regulations (FARs), collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and company policies, analyzing and resolving complex scheduling conflicts when necessary.
  • Optimize and execute comprehensive training plans to balance cost-efficiency, crew availability, and operational demands.
  • Perform daily updates and audits in Airline Information Management System (AIMS) to maintain schedule
  • Generate and analyze training reports, tracking ground and simulator training completions and upcoming
  • Resolve de-qualification issues to ensure all crewmembers remain legal for training and flight
  • Maintain classroom and simulator
  • Monitor training flow and instructor utilization to meet certification and qualification
  • Ensure Training Instructors and Check Airmen meet the necessary qualifications to instruct in all training assignments conducted, including full-flight simulators, fixed-based simulators, classrooms, and emergency equipment training.
  • Administer and maintain the training bidding system, ensuring accuracy and
  • Participate in scheduling forecasts with Manager, Training Scheduling and the Director of Training Center Administration to anticipate training needs.
  • Coordinate with Crew Scheduling, Training Records, Training Center Operations, and other departments to align training needs with operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to secure the necessary resources for
  • Provide real-time updates on crew training progress, availability, and certification
  • Ensure crewmember training notifications are accurately communicated through AIMS and internal
  • Interface with training scheduling team, Atlas Instructors and Check Pilots, and other departments to ensure accurate and efficient training scheduling.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency as directed by the Manager, Training Scheduling, Director, Training Center Administration, or their designees.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by the Manager, Training Scheduling or Director, Training Center



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in airline scheduling, training coordination, or related
  • Experience using crew management software (AIMS preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (FARs) related to training and flight crew
  • Understanding of Atlas Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
  • Ability to analyze complex scheduling issues and develop practical, compliant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and scheduling
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across



Special Demands:

Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by a 24-hour operations environment.
