Essential Functions (may include)



  • Perform general construction labor in support of carpentry, concrete, mechanical, and civil crews on treatment plant projects
  • Assist with excavation support, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation activities
  • Handle, move, and stage construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Support concrete operations, including formwork prep, placing, vibrating, patching, and curing protection
  • Install and remove temporary works such as barricades, fencing, protection, and erosion control
  • Perform demolition, cleanup, and debris removal in new and existing treatment facilities
  • Operate basic hand and power tools (shovels, rakes, compactors, saws, drills, etc.)
  • Assist skilled trades (carpenters, pipefitters, operators, ironworkers) as directed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and access ways
  • Follow all safety requirements, including PPE, confined space, trench safety, and lockout/tagout controls
  • Participate in daily safety meetings, stretch-and-flex, and crew coordination
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support project needs
  • Trash collection and disposal.
  • Organize the tool and equipment sheds.


Basic Qualifications



  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ year of construction or outdoor labor experience preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Required to communicate information, ideas, directions, and the capability to perform the task or project discussed.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with utmost regard for safety.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background checks required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including carrying, digging, climbing, kneeling, and prolonged standing
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and active construction environments
  • Willingness to learn heavy civil and treatment plant construction practices
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a crew environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to construction safety practices
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • If requested, the applicant shall furnish a written statement from a medical doctor that he/she has had a physical examination in connection with the application and is physically fit to perform the work.
