Summary
Provides assistance to the Principal Investigator and Study Team in coordinating research activities that may include conducting a variety of routine experiments with established methodologies, data collection and management, and other research activities as assigned.
Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a grace period of six months from their hire date (up to 1 year if starting per diem)to provide degree equivalency verification.

Essential Functions
Responsible for data collection, management, manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
-Study cohort management.
-Outreach communication with subjects, conducting mailings, follow-up on mailings, and obtaining necessary documents.
-Provides assistance on work related to epidemiological studies and other population-based research.

Bachelor's Degree Science required

Skeletal Health and Osteoporosis Center is a clinical and research program within the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Our research focuses on clinical and translational research in osteoporosis, fractures, physical performance, and other areas of musculoskeletal health. The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to engage in many facets of clinical research, such as grant writing, manuscript preparation, and working with trial participants. The department is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Research Assistant helping in the development, implementation, and analysis of research protocols.
