Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced Senior Acquisition Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Acquisition Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.



Responsibilities

    Assist in acquisition program documentation development, including but not limited to:
    • researching requirements and the preparation of Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) reports,
    • Selected Acquisition Reports (SARs), and other assigned acquisition reports.
  • Assist in the review of cost, schedule, and performance parameters and compares current estimate to the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) at least quarterly and during each budget development cycle and in support of major program reviews.
  • Assist in the development required DoD 5000 documents to support the successful completion of an acquisition milestone decision.
  • Assist in the development of responses to inquiries from outside organizations to include but not limited to, congressional request for briefs and information, GAO audits, media request for information, and others as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in shipbuilding acquistion support.
  • Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Shipbuilding and Acquisition knowledge
  • Active Secret Clearance

Salary
