Job Description:
This position pays $22.90 per hour + $1 Shift Differential. 2nd SHIFT 5:00pm - 3:30am We're looking for afull-time, Explosives Operator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas.
As the Explosives Operator, here's the work you'll do:
- Operates a computer intecont, a loss-in-weight feeder and thermocouple thermometer for melts using kettles (5 gal., 50 gal., and 250 gal.)
- Activates and monitors systems associated with Explosive Melt System for all types of explosives. Ensures there are explosives ready for each pour at the start and end of each day.
- Complies with operation-approved standard operating procedures.
- Coordinates pre and post system checks and cleans up as required on all floors.

- Minimum 6 months experience in operating and monitoring of production equipment.
