Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join their Human Resources Department. This position will be based out of our Raleigh, NC office. You'll play a critical role providing support to our in-house recruiting team by sourcing candidates and executing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities

    Sourcing: Identify and source top talent through multiple venues such as job boards, industry-specific sites, college and university campus job fairs, contacts, social media outlets, and other sourcing means.
  • Resume Review: Review resumes and credentials for skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements while complying with EEO and OFCCP federal regulations.
  • Job Descriptions: Assist with the development of job descriptions as needed and create and post requisitions through our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Internal Applicant Tracking System Management: Serve as the point-of-contact for our applicant tracking system, iCIMS, ensuring the system is updated and functioning optimally.
  • Documentation: File new hire paperwork and resumes within the internal file database, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Candidate Status Updates: Update candidate status within internal HR systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Interview Scheduling: Assist the recruiting team with scheduling candidate interviews, facilitating a smooth hiring process.
  • Candidate Travel Reimbursement: Process travel reimbursement requests for candidates, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

*Success in this role hinges on your ability to act as a dedicated talent hunter. Your proactive sourcing and networking capabilities will not only enhance our recruitment strategies but also play a vital role in our long-term success in securing top talent within the competitive AEC market.



Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BA or a BS degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting a recruiting team including a minimum of 1-2 years of experience sourcing talent.
  • Experience supporting recruitment within the AEC industry is a plus but not required.
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other alternative sourcing methods to identify and hire talent with niche skill sets.
  • Proven ability to consistently contribute in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to prioritize and execute projects and individual tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results and attention to detail.
  • Team player with superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
