Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Fremont, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Design and analyze mechanical systems and assemblies for semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Perform feasibility studies on new and modified designs.
  • Provide design information and documentation for packaging and drafting.
  • Create test plans and execute design testing.
  • Direct and support personnel during design, fabrication and test activities.
  • Communicate design intent and technical details to cross functional teams.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $42.00-55.90$

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (24 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with NX, Pro/ENGINEER (Creo), or SolidWorks.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Organized with good problem solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator who is willing to understand all aspects of a problem and dig into details.
  • Good presentation skills with the ability to explain design details to coworkers of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong CAD modeling skills.
  • NX experience.
  • Semiconductor industry.
  • Power box design (enclosures, bus bars, component placement, RF straps, etc.).
  • Temperature control design (fans, heat sinks, temperature sensors, heat exchangers, cold plates, heaters, etc.).
  • Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Understanding of material properties and machining rules of thumb for aluminum, plastics, and brittle materials such as ceramics and quartz.
  • Finite element analysis (thermal and structural).
  • Tolerance stack up analysis.
  • Structured problem solving and understanding of failure modes.
  • Statistical analysis and data presentation.
