TITLE: Winder Operator C



POSITION OBJECTIVE: To produce a consistent quality product utilizing procedures and process related troubleshooting while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and ensuring all customer and internal quality requirement are met.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Demonstrated proficiency as Winder Operator
  • Good oral / written communication skills
  • Computing knowledge
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:



  • Operates and monitors production machine to manufacture product.
  • Continually check product for size, weight, strength, printing (if any) as well as perform a seal burst test for quality issues & reports any findings to Extrusion Operator, Quality Coordinator and Supervisor.
  • Assemble cardboard boxes, label boxes, date stamp and package with the finished product.
  • Place packaged boxes on pallets in appropriate configuration as has been specified.
  • Enter and monitor weight of finished product int software system
  • Assists other Winder Operators or shift supervisor as needed
  • Abides by all company policies including, but not limited to, Safety, Environmental, and Plant Rules; practices good housekeeping at all times.
  • PPE (safety shoes, ear plugs, and safety glasses) are to be worn at all times on the shop floor
  • Performs any and all duties needed to support the department and company mission
  • Required to run two lines at once



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Manufacturing environment
  • Able to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
  • Loud noise
