Short Intro and About the Job

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Quality Techincian II for our Compliance department based in Dallas, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

    Review ESL processing, packaging, lab, and milk receiving forms daily.
  • Oversee and expedite ESL product releases via SAP; update and maintain release and production spreadsheets.
  • Manage quality holds and blocked products, ensuring records are current until resolution; report non-conforming products using SAP.
  • Regularly collaborate with internal and external auditors (Kosher, Organic, GFCO, RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, Non-GMO).
  • Assist with consumer complaint investigations and mock trace exercises.
  • Interpret and follow specifications, formulas, policies, and procedures for consistency.
  • Coordinate ongoing activities and changes with all shifts and crews.
  • Log and communicate process errors efficiently; escalate concerns as needed.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace.
  • Emphasize and uphold regulatory compliance duties.
  • Obtain and maintain State PMO program certification and support the Grade-A program.
  • Monitor SAP and Guardian instructions, providing troubleshooting support.
  • Participate in internal audits.
  • Demonstrate flexibility for weekends, shift work, and overtime.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.


About You

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, Korber, and IQS.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, Good Manufacturing Practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to read, write, and interpret technical documents.
  • Accurate testing and mix calculations, with keen olfactory and taste sensitivity.
  • Ability to operate office and laboratory equipment safely, including computers, printers, scanners.
  • Prefer experience and understanding of laboratory equipment and testing methods-such as CEM, FT120, Bruker, D-Count, Epic, Petrifilm, BacSomatic, Charm ROSA lateral flow testing, Lateral Flow Device, pipettors, pH meters, refractometers, conductivity meters, microscopes, incubators, etc.
  • Solid math, critical thinking, and decision-making skills for evaluating results.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; frequent department and leadership interaction.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work weekends/overtime, and operate in cold or loud environments.
  • Comfortable presenting information to individuals and small groups.
  • Experienced in safely handling chemicals.
