Responsibilities As a Senior Researcher, you will collaboratively define a research agenda with other researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and policy-makers. As a member of a world-class research organization, you will contribute to state-of-the-art research projects, and you will be able to realize your ideas in products and services that are used worldwide. Qualifications Required Qualifications Doctorate in relevant field (e.g., AI/ML, NLP, statistics, HCI, information science, political science, sociology) OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., AI/ML, NLP, statistics, HCI, information science, political science, sociology) and 3+ years related research experience on AI and society OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., AI/ML, NLP, statistics, HCI, information science, political science, sociology) and 4+ years related research experience on AI and society OR equivalent experience Other Requirements How to Apply To ensure we receive a complete application from you, please be sure to follow these instructions: Upload your CV. Preferred Qualifications Experience publishing academic papers as a lead author or essential contributor in top research venues Experience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environment Experience working in an industry research environment Experience approaching AI from a sociotechnical perspective Participation and activity in the research community Effective written and verbal communication skills Research Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
