Position Summary:

We are seeking amotivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team this summer.As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting real projects and contributing to meaningful work thatimpactsour organization.This roleis responsible fordeveloping,maintaining, and standardizingwork instructions,Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), andassembly manualsthat ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards.This isa great opportunityto apply classroom knowledge in a practical environment, develop technical and professional skills, and learn more about potential career paths in engineering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Acquiring product and process knowledge from assembly and process technicians
  2. Creating and revising process work and assembly instructions
  3. Shadowing with the technicians to ensure technical instructions is accurate and compliant to the actual assembly procedures
  4. Creating/reviewing CAD drawings and taking assembly photographs for visual aids
  5. Engaging with subject matter experts from Engineering, Quality, and Production to validate technical details

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited college or university with a target degree of Mechanical Engineering
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and general computer knowledge is required
  • Understanding of machining and assembly process

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win
  • Technical writing skills
  • CAD s/w knowledge
  • Basic understanding of ISO standard

Work Arrangement : Onsite
