The Wilmington M&A/Corporate Group is seeking mid-level associates (Class of 2022-2020) with experience in mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions, as well as general corporate and alternative entity law matters. The M&A/Corporate Group of Skadden represents and advises clients in a wide variety of transactional and other corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, private equity investments, joint ventures and restructurings. We also advise clients and other lawyers in the firm on Delaware law aspects of transactions, fiduciary duties, and corporate governance matters, as well as alternative entity law, focusing on Delaware limited liability companies and limited partnerships. The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $310,000 to $390,000. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus. Associates who join Skadden laterally participate in an enhanced mentor program, which specifically focuses on the unique needs experienced attorneys face during professional transitions.
