SALARY RANGE: $17 - $20 / hour

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Maintains cash management and accounts payable records

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Daily cash management of bank accounts.
  • Completes and files credit applications, ACH payment setup, tax exemption forms, and W-9s for company vendors.
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank account statements.
  • Checks and approves all invoices for payment to vendors along with other members of accounts payable staff.
  • Compares invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered and verifies proper authorization.
  • Contacts vendors or purchasers regarding errors in invoicing pricing, partial shipment and/or shipment substitutions.
  • Provides back up support to other accounting staff.
  • Assists in monthly closings.
  • Assists in answering incoming telephone calls, ascertains nature of the call and directs caller to the appropriate person.
  • Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.
  • Attends required meetings as requested.
  • Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
