Summary:
The Stress Lab Technician role performs technical work and management of daily operations, systems and services in the Cardiopulmonary Stress Lab. This includes preparing and performing Stress Tests under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, EKG's, application of cardiac monitors, application of home sleep studies and management of EKG Systems.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education:High School diploma preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or equivalent training (i.e. Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic) required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. A New Hampshire Medical Technician license is required for NH Medical Assistants.
  3. Experience: One year of experience as an ECG technician with training in arrhythmia recognition or equivalent combination of experience and training required.
