Thomas College seeks a dynamic new faculty member in Psychology to join the School of Arts and Sciences starting in Fall 2026. Our Psychology program offers concentrations in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health, while maintaining a strong collaborative relationship with Criminal Justice and other programs.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated educator with a strong desire to teach and a proven ability to engage undergraduate students effectively in the learning process. Responsibilities for this full-time position include a 4/4 teaching load, academic advising, and involvement in student recruiting efforts to help grow the program. We seek a colleague who is committed to service to the College, which includes active participation in program assessment and development/revision, as well as serving on faculty committees. This individual will also play a key role in helping the College move toward the development of a graduate program in mental health counseling.

Candidates must be prepared to offer a wide range of undergraduate courses, including Developmental Psychology, Personality Theories, Counseling Theories, Marriage and Family, and Child or Adolescent Psychology. While expertise in clinical or counseling psychology is preferred to support these course offerings, our primary focus is on excellence in teaching and institutional service.

Applicants must hold a terminal degree in a related field; however, ABD candidates will be considered provided that all degree requirements are successfully completed before the start of employment.
