Millwright II

Are you looking for a hands-on role with variety in your daily work? Marvin is looking for a Millwright to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll get to know our manufacturing machines inside and out as you perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs. You'll work with a variety of equipment including shafting, conveyors, speed-reduced assemblies, and more.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a fine attention to detail, and a passion for problem solving. You'll enjoy career development opportunities, including the ability to assist with training additional Millwrights. Plus, Marvin will pay for your Limited Maintenance Electrician License if you meet the training requirements! Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Dismantle, move, install, align, lubricate, and repair machinery and equipment
• Construct foundations and fasten machines to the foundation or other surfaces using bolts, welds, and rivets
• Perform lift truck preventive maintenance service and make necessary repairs

• High school diploma or GED
• Current state driver's license
• Limited Maintenance Electrician License (Marvin will pay for a license if you meet the training requirements met)
• Welding certification

• Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Strong mathematical, communication, and computer skills
• Ability to frequently walk, kneel, stoop, and crouch
