Executive Director of Financial Aid

Alfred University is looking for an Executive Director of Financial Aid (EDFA) to join our team. Our campus sits in the beautiful foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and the vibrant Finger Lakes region of Western New York.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Vice President for Enrollment Management and serve as a key member of the enrollment leadership team. You'll help guide the University's financial aid strategy, make sure we stay compliant with federal and state regulations, and support our broader enrollment goals. As part of our Executive Council, you'll also collaborate with senior leadership on initiatives that move the University forward.

You'll oversee the financial aid operations for about 1,800 students, manage resources responsibly, ensure policies and procedures are up to date, and help create an efficient, student-focused office environment. You'll also lead and support a team of seven professional staff members.

We're looking for someone who enjoys collaboration, brings strong analytical skills, understands financial aid strategy, and is comfortable working with systems like Banner.
