Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
The University of Missouri Department of Athletics is seeking an Assistant Soccer Coach to support the development, training, and performance of the Mizzou Soccer program. Reporting to the Head Soccer Coach, this position will play a key role in goalkeeper coaching, goalkeeper development, recruiting, and other areas assigned by the head coach. The assistant coach will work closely with student-athletes, other coaches, athletic staff, and support personnel to enhance team success and ensure compliance with NCAA and SEC regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Coaching and Player Development (40%) * Create and implement Goalkeeper Training and Development Plans. 2. Recruiting and Talent Evaluation (25%) * Assist in the development and execution of the program's recruiting strategy. 3. Game Planning and Strategy (20%) * Collect, analyze, and interpret tactical and statistical data on opponents. 4. Administrative Support and Collaboration (10%) * Promote and uphold the philosophy and objectives of the University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. 5. Other Duties (5%) * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletics administration. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in College Soccer Coaching is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
