As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and tenants with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license meeting AU Driver Policy requirements. You will represent Allied Universal through agility, reliability, and innovation, delivering with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or guests by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and notify site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with traffic flow during peak shopping periods and/or special events, providing directions and supporting property rules regarding loitering, prohibited items, and/or closing procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation for incidents, patrol observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate updates using radios, phones, and/or site systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
