Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Pearl City, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, you will monitor platforms, stations, and surrounding areas through routine patrols and a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist riders and staff with directions and service-minded communication, document observations, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government rail transit location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, passenger areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with orderly entry and exit during peak periods and special events.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and service disruptions, and notify appropriate responders and/or supervisors as needed.
• Complete accurate reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
