As an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site staff, respond to reports, and document observations while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, unsecured doors, or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor processing by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate entry and/or exit logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency services as needed and providing clear updates to Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete detailed security-related reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity logs, and equipment status checks, following site protocols for controlled areas and restricted information.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
