As a key member of the Corporate Procurement Team, the Advisor will lead and support strategic sourcing of corporate services, and related categories in alignment with Procurement objectives. This role acts as a trusted business partner, supporting internal stakeholders in effective spend management and the acquisition of quality goods and services to meet business needs. The Advisor will drive value through supplier negotiations, contract management, and continuous improvement activities.


What You'll Do:

  • Negotiate contracts and lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Human Resources (HR), Legal, and corporate services, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop RFx packages, coordinate internal stakeholder input, analyze supplier proposals, and make recommendations for supplier selection.
  • Conduct market research and supplier due diligence to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting executive summaries, securing signatures, and administering amendments in Nutrien's contract management systems.
  • Support supplier performance management and capture feedback from internal customers.
  • Resolve invoicing/payment issues with buyers and suppliers, monitor contract compliance, track spend and cost savings in relevant systems.
  • Assist in defining and executing the corporate spend strategy and support procurement initiatives that drive business value across the organization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for indirect spend and Source-to-Contract (S2C)/Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Utilize SAP Ariba, and integrated systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for effective process execution.
  • Support the Corporate Procurement Leadership team with the development, planning, and implementation of Procurement initiatives

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferred certifications: SCMP/CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma, or Operational Planning.
  • Minimum 6 years' relevant industry experience, including at least 4 years in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Proven skills in RFx, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and S2P process execution.
  • Experience with technology (services, licensing, and hardware), consulting, contingent workforce, and HR-related categories strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating contract reviews with multiple stakeholder groups; e.g., Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, Insurance, Safety, etc.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and independently.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise asset management (SAP ECC/Oracle), spend management (reporting/analytics), and eProcurement tools (Ariba)
  • High degree of ethics, integrity, and professionalism in representing Nutrien's reputation in the marketplace.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $87,000 - $149,100. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
